MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN/TECHNOLOGIST – November 5th, 2021

MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN/TECHNOLOGIST – WOODSTOCK, ONTARIO, CANADA

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, we have an immediate need for a Manufacturing Technician/Technologist. The key aspect of this role is working directly on the plant floor, collaborating on planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing processes in the assembly facility. In addition, you will assist in the development, evaluation, and improvement of manufacturing methods. Other responsibilities include utilizing your passion and knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrications processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.

The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years’ experience in a similar role and possess mechanically inclined capabilities. The key aspect of this role is to perform the installation and setup of all components on machine models. Responsible for operational set-up and testing of machine models,  calibration of machine controls, and component installation.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.  The key aspect of this role is to perform specific complex assembly, set-up, testing and inspection tasks on saw machines (including automatic models), special equipment and their sub-assemblies by following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications to produce a complete product.  Due to the operation of Heavy Equipment this is a Safety Sensitive position

Reporting to our Operations Manager, we have an immediate need for an Inventory Clerk.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.  The key aspect of this role is processing PDO’s/change orders/recovery and identifying parts shortages.  Primary focus will be to ensure the accuracy of stock (quantity and location) and ongoing reconciliation between physical and perpetual records.
