The M-20A is manufactured at HYDMECH’s facility in Woodstock, Ontario. HYDMECH has been designing and manufacturing band saws in North America since 1978.
The M-20A comes with a two year parts warranty and one year labor warranty, provided through your authorized HYDMECH dealer.
The M-20A handles up to 20″ x 30″ rectangular and 20″ round at 90 degrees, and it miters through 45 and 30 degrees for structural and heavy bar work. Automatic programmable mitering positions the head to any angle in that range on demand.
Yes. The M-20A features automatic programmable mitering with go-to angle positioning from 90 to 30 degrees, and a cast iron shuttle that automatically multi-indexes up to 33″ in a single stroke. Full-stroke hydraulic vises clamp and the head feeds down under hydraulic control, so long structural runs cut automatically.
The M-20A cuts mild steel, structural steel, aluminum, stainless steel, heavy tubing, and large solid bar. The 10 HP VFD variable speed drive lets operators dial in the right blade speed for each material, from 50 to 350 SFM.
At 90 degrees the M-20A cuts up to 20″ round and 20″ x 30″ rectangular. At 45 degrees it cuts up to 20″ round and 20″ x 19″ rectangular. At 30 degrees it cuts up to 14″ round and 20″ x 12″ rectangular.
